Asan na kaya ngayon si Fr. DJ?

Fr. DJ gave me copy of this book (Christmas '05).

P.S. Happy Teacher's Month! (Fr. DJ was my teacher in my least fave subject at that time, Geometry.)
P.P.S. Hi, Damon Salvatore.
Such a beautiful story. Reminds one to live life every day to its fullest capacity-- your fullest capacity. A compassionate & full day, sounds like a damn good day, a damn good life to me. Even in the face of hardship...Get on it people!

I need some positivity boosters, stat

I thought a thought while I was at the BIR to surrender some unused 50-plus receipts/invoices booklets of 50 pages only to, as reported, get burned (the tree hugger in me is disappointed):

BIR's change of receipts' format is not friendly to newly-established business and to SMEs (i.e. businesses not owned by those in the Forbes list), in general. Printing receipts involves expenses (fees here and there), and as they say, an expense is an expense.

Now, now, think about the penalty of Php 1,000.00; now think about SME-engaged Pinoys who are themselves apparently busy and couldn't help but resort to mañana habit, and in one Revenue District there are, say, 1,000 of them. Do the math. Fact: There are 123 revenue districts in the Filipinas. Do the math, again. Where will the money go? Possibly, to PDAF.

Ugh, I feel sick.

What's more sick-inducing? The Administration-Janet Napoles Conspiracy Theory.

Blech.

Sa ibang balita: Derek Ramsey and Cristine Reyes, mag-on na.

I wanna talk about MTV VMAs

My observations/thoughts/favorite moments :

Jared Leto’s locks, so Olivier Theysken.

Where’s Pharell?

Miley’s tongue
should be given a T.R.O.

Wow, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis ft Mary Lambert - Same Love — Best Video with a Social Message.

Justin Timberlake’s medley clocking in longer than I expected

N*SYNC, whoa!
Find out more about the *NSYNC VMA reunion!

Definitely the night of JT. (Uh, where’s Jessica Biel?) He is the recipient of the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
JT keeping it 100 at the VMAs.
Congrats.

Same Love performance by with Macklemore, Ryan Lewis and Mary Lambert plus Jennifer Hudson.

Lady Gaga wearing her matching sea shells bikini throughout the show.

Bolitas

There's a story about the Philippines in The Atlantic and it's about some of the Filipino men's fascination with inserting "balls -- the size of M&M's -- underneath the skin in order to enhance sexual pleasure".  Under the skin of you-know-what.

I cannot get "the secret weapon of the Filipinos" idea out of my head (shocks, no pun intended!). What's also quirky: "When they (prostitutes) hear that Filipinos are coming, they're happy."

The story, published last August 9, is currently (as of Sunday, 10:40 AM Philippine Standard Time) number 2 on its 'Most Popular' tab.

3 Chapters A Day

Currently: The Recorded History Of A Girl by Celine Lopez.

**Get your e-book version at Amazon.com.. for free(!) for a limited time only!**
P.S. I love the author’s wit. Have been following her writing trajectory (and her life adventures and heartaches as well) via her columns From Coffee To Cocktails ever since the last half of the aughts. So to pen a fiction in book form is in order. Back to reading.

Let's Talk About Sh!t

Disclaimer: TMI.

Whenever I don't do it, I would feel like that thing I hadn't deposit. It = deposit, that = sh!t.
I used to deposit once a day. Every morning. If I don't get to do it or nothing comes out, I would feel conscious and sometimes grumpy all day.

Lately, I have noticed that I deposit not just once anymore but twice (one time last week, thrice, people, thrice, like I'm a toddler all over again) already. I do the second deposit in my workplace's nice-nice powder room/CR/whatever you call it.

My ever-neurotic mind thinks the poo-poo thing is healthy it's happening me. It can mean that I am eating more/consuming more food. It can mean that my digestion is in a better tune. It can also mean that my metabolism has gotten more horsepower -- oh no, meaning I would not get the weight I badly need.

Do I need a nutritionist-dietitian? Are they the ones whom I should consult?
