Today is my hometown's Military Parade (read on to know what this is), in lieu of the Town Fiesta tomorrow. Happy Fiesta!

Once upon a time, I was a participant in this majorettes + drums & lyres corps showcase culture. A kiddo who couldn't (and still can't) play the lyre (sorry, it's not a part of my Multiple Intelligence keke) and the way was to pretend-percussion -- as if I'm beating the metal keys. That move I did in order to get closer to my first dream (alam n'yo 'to, ex-pompoms girl A and former baton b!tch A).

Fashion-wise, while most of the garbs need design intervention, the side-stripe pants of many a two-color combo incarnate have been worn way before they became on-trend.



Earlier, I heard a "Whoops Kiri" instrumental. So pop culture! Would love the participating school band which'd play "We Can't Stop."

Praise these participants' supportive parents and this overcast day (kawawa mga bagets kung super shine bright like a diamond si Haring Araw.)

I'm bored. Haha.

Her personal style of louche daywear gives me the feelz since on my current day job that look is what I've been trying to achieve: easy, carefree casual (think: pulled-up fancy sweatshirt + normal yet smart-looking pants).

I need some positivity boosters, stat

I thought a thought while I was at the BIR to surrender some unused 50-plus receipts/invoices booklets of 50 pages only to, as reported, get burned (the tree hugger in me is disappointed): 

BIR's change of receipts' format is not friendly to newly-established business and to SMEs (i.e. businesses not owned by those in the Forbes list), in general. Printing receipts involves expenses (fees here and there), and as they say, an expense is an expense.

Now, now, think about the penalty of Php 1,000.00; now think about SME-engaged Pinoys who are themselves apparently busy and couldn't help but resort to mañana habit, and in one Revenue District there are, say, 1,000 of them. Do the math. Fact: There are 123 revenue districts in the Filipinas. Do the math, again. Where will the money go? Possibly, to PDAF.

Ugh, I feel sick.
